Police made an arrest Friday in the death of 74-year-old Earl Clapp of Pelham.
Shortly before 5 p.m. Friday, Matthew MacInnes of Wellandport was arrested.
The 39-year-old MacInnes faced a charge of second degree murder and has been held in custody, pending a bail hearing.
The bail hearing is expected to take place Saturday.
