On Friday, Oct. 2, 2020 at approximately 2:42 a.m., 3 District (Welland) Uniform Officers, K9 and Emergency Services attended the area of Highway 20 and Cream Street in Pelham in response to a welfare check.
Uniform officers arrived on scene and located an elderly male with serious injuries. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The circumstances of the incident remain under investigation by detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS), Collision Reconstruction Unit, the Forensic Service Unit, and the office of the Coroner.
