Woman taken to hospital following Niagara Falls robbery, assault (5 photos)

Police hope to identify two suspects

On Sept. 27, 2020 at approximately 11:37 p.m., 2 District (Niagara Falls) Uniform Officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) attended the Villager Inn located on Lundy’s Lane near Kalar Road in the City of Niagara Falls in regards to a robbery.

Investigation revealed that a 49-year-old female was in a room, when two unknown males pushed their way into the room, assaulted the female and stole her belongings.

The female was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Niagara Regional Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects.

Suspect 1

Description: 

  • Latino  
  • 5’7  
  • Slim Build

Clothing Description:  

  • Green and Black Jacket  
  • Black Pants 
  • Brown shoes with White Soles  
  • Hood  
  • Mask  
  • Back pack

Suspect 2

Description: 

  • Latino  
  • 5’11  
  • Slim Build  
  • Long Black Hair

Clothing Description:  

  • Black T-Shirt  
  • Black Pants  
  • Black Shoes  
  • Black and White Baseball Cap 
  • Medical Mask

This appears to be a targeted incident.

The matter remains under investigation by 2 District Detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service.
