Police locate missing Niagara Falls woman (update)

Niagara Regional Police Service have located a woman who had been reported missing.

"Out of respect for next of kin no further details are being released," said police in an updated news release.

"NRPS would like to thank the media and the public for their help with this matter."

Officers from the 2 District – Niagara Falls/Niagara on the Lake office of the Niagara Regional Police Service are searching for missing person Marni Parliament.

On April 18, 2024, the family of Marni Parliament contacted the Niagara Regional Police Service to report her missing. The initial investigation determined Marnie was last seen on April 9, 2024, at her residence in Niagara Falls, in the area of Kalar Road and Coventry Road. Marni communicated by text message last on April 15, 2024. Family and friends have not heard from or seen her since. Her possible means of transportation are unknown.

Marni is described as:

  • White female
  • Approximately 154lbs. medium build
  • 5’8” feet tall
  • Blonde / Brown long straight hair

A clothing description is not known currently.

The police and Marni’s family are concerned for her welfare. Anyone who may have information as to her location are asked to contact detectives at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1022200 reference NRPS incident number 24-39351.

Members of the public who wish to provide information anonymously can contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-8477.  Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards to persons who contact the program with information which leads to an arrest.
