Three face charges in Niagara Falls shooting investigation

The victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and is currently in stable condition

Police released an image of suspect Nicholas Keighan–Scordino and the car he is believed to be driving.

Police have made an arrest in a Jan. 2 shooting.

On Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021 at approximately 9:52 a.m., 2 District (Niagara Falls) uniform officers and Emergency Medical Services, attended the area of Jepson Street and Crysler Avenue, in the City of Niagara Falls for an assistance call.

Officers arrived on scene and observed a 25-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. The male was airlifted to an out of region hospital with life-threatening injuries. He is currently in stable condition.

On January 5, 2021, the suspect was arrested.

Nicholas Keighan – Scordino, 23 years old, of Niagara Falls, was arrested and charged with the following offences of:

  • Discharge firearm w/ intent
  • Possession of a restricted/prohibited firearm w/o license
  • Unauthorized possession of a weapon (2 counts)
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm in a vehicle
  • Fail to comply with release order (2 counts)

Scordino was held in custody pending a bail hearing that is expected to take place on Jan. 6, 2020.

As a result of the continued investigation, a second male suspect and a female suspect were arrested. Brandon Baker, 22 years old, of Niagara Falls, was arrested and charged with the following offences of:

  • Assault with a weapon
  • Pointing a firearm
  • Discharge firearm with intent to wound, endanger life
  • Obstruct justice

Baker was held in custody pending a bail hearing that was expected to take place on Jan. 5, 2021.

On Jan. 6, 2021, Linda Sieber-Hall, 54 years old, of Niagara Falls, was arrested and charged with the following offence of:

  • Obstruct justice

Sieber-Hall was held in custody pending a bail hearing that is expected to take place on Jan. 6, 2021.
