Niagara Regional Police are searching for a Thorold man wanted for attempted murder.
Patrick Charles Cline, 49, is wanted in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred yesterday (Feb. 9) in Niagara Falls. Another suspect, Peter William Charles Blaker of Niagara Falls, is already in custody.
Cline is described as:
• Male white
• 6’00 ft., 256 lbs
• Brown hair, cut short in a brush cut
• Unshaven (brown/grey)
• Blue eyes
• Multiple tattoos (25+) all over his body, including:
- Right side of neck – words / script (Irish themed)
- Left side of neck – words / script “St. Patrick”
- Right hand – words / script “Jason Dean”, image – five dots, words / script – “Take”
- Left hand – image – clover, image / words / script - Skull “Mical Lucas”, words / script – “That”

On Feb. 9, 2022 at 6:40 p.m., 2 District – Niagara Falls uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service responded to an assault call on Arad Street near Drummond Road in the City of Niagara Falls.
Officers arrived on scene and found a male victim in his 30s suffering from stab wounds. The victim was treated at the scene by Niagara Emergency Medical Service paramedics for what was believed to be life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital and then to an out of region hospital for further care.
The initial investigation by officers determined that at approximately 6:30 p.m. two male suspects went to a home on Arad Street in Niagara Falls. They were allowed into the home. While in the home [it is alleged that] they began to repeatedly punch the victim. One of the suspects then held the victim while he was stabbed by the other suspect multiple times with a knife. The suspects ran from the scene after the attack.
Uniform officers and a NRPS K9 Unit attended the area but were not able to locate the suspects.
The investigation was assigned to 2 District detectives. As a result of the investigation officers were able to identify the two suspects. A short time later one of the suspects was arrested in Niagara Falls. The second suspect has not been located.
Peter William Charles Blaker (36 years old) of Niagara Falls has been arrested and charged with the criminal offences of:
• Attempted Murder contrary to sec. 239 (1) of the Criminal Code
• Aggravated Assault contrary to sec. 268 (1) of the Criminal Code
• Fail to comply with release order contrary to sec. 145 (5)(a) of the Criminal Code (two counts)
Blaker was held in custody for a video bail hearing at the Robert S. K. Welch Courthouse on Feb. 10, 2022.
Patrick Charles Cline (49 years old) of Thorold is wanted for the criminal offences of:
• Attempted Murder contrary to sec. 239 (1) of the Criminal Code
• Aggravated Assault contrary to sec. 268 (1) of the Criminal Code
• Fail to comply with release order contrary to sec. 145 (5)(a) of the Criminal Code
• Fail to comply with probation order contrary to sec. 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code
Cline’s current location is unknown.
