Suspect wanted for stealing power tools from store—four times

Stolen power tools worth more than $12K; police say unknown suspect drove a vehicle with stolen licence plates

Police are asking the public's assistance in locating this suspect following multiple thefts from a location in St. Catharines.

Officers from the 1 District – St. Catharines office of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a theft suspect.

The unknown male suspect has attended a store in the area of Glendale Avenue and Burleigh Hill Drive on at least four occasions (June 24, June 26, June 27, June 29) where he is believed to have stolen power tools.

Merchandise stolen is valued at approximately $12,120.

The suspect is described as:

  • Tanned White male
  • Approximately 45-55 years old
  • Approximately 5'8" tall
  • Balding/shaved head
  • Black facial hair
  • Sleeve tattoos on both arms

The Ontario licence plates used on the suspect’s vehicle, are stolen from the Halton area.
