In December of 2019 the Niagara Regional Police Service Central Fraud Unit commenced an investigation regarding an allegation of fraud.
The investigation determined that between August and September of 2019, a local business was defrauded in excess of $100,000 by a male suspect. Detectives have determined the identity of the suspect.
Ajay Aery (27 years old) of no fixed address is wanted for the alleged criminal offence of:
• Fraud over $5,000
Aery is aware that he is wanted.
He has ties to communities throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Aery has previously lived in Mississauga.
Aery is also wanted by the York Regional Police, and the Toronto Police Service for fraud related offences.
