Police seek assistance locating missing Niagara Falls woman (update: located)

The missing woman in Niagara Falls has been located and is safe.

The Niagara Regional Police would like to thank the media and the public for this assistance in this matter.

Original release:

The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) is presently conducting a missing person investigation in the City of Niagara Falls for a missing 58-year-old Niagara Falls woman.

2 District NRPS officers are searching for Leigh-Anne Walsh. She was last seen in the area of the Greater Niagara General Hospital (Portage Road and North Street) at approximately 9:30 a.m. She is believed to have been on foot.

Leigh-Anne is described as:
    •    Female, white
    •    5’7 feet tall
    •    115 lbs with a “frail” build
    •    Greying brown shoulder length hair

Last seen wearing:
    •    An over-sized short-sleeved orange and red floral button up shirt
    •    Denim capri pants
    •    Carrying a red bag

Her current location is unknown.

The police and Leigh-Anne’s family are concerned for your welfare.
