Police eye suspect in daytime residential break-ins in Thorold

Detectives from the Niagara Regional Police Service 1 District (St. Catharines / Thorold) Street Crime Unit are investigating a series of residential break and enters in Thorold.

Since the end of February, Thorold has been experiencing a series of daytime break and enters occurring while the occupants are not home, police said in a news release.

Police said to date there have been nine incidents.

Detectives have been able to secure a photo of the suspect.

The suspect is described as:

  • White male
  • 35-40 years
  • Wearing a black “Crooks and Castle” hoody and grey ball cap
