Police ask for help after St. Catharines man found dead (update: man identified)

Update:

The male has been identified. No foul play is suspected.  Out of respect for the next of kin, no further details will be released. 

Original release: 

On Friday, Nov. 13, 2020 at approximately 2:24 p.m., 1 District (St. Catharines) Uniform Officers, attended the area of Jaycee Park, in the City of St. Catharines in regards to a male that had been located deceased.

Detectives with 1 District (St. Catharines) with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are seeking the public’s help in identifying the deceased male.

The male is described as being:  

  • White 
  • 60’s  
  • Heavy build  
  • 5’7-5’10  
  • Blue Eyes  
  • Balding with short grey hair on top

Clothing Description: 

  • Grey slacks  
  • Black belt 
  • Brown T-shirt  
  • Beige Jacket 
  • Beige Sandals

Foul play is not suspected.
