At approximately 7:40 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 31, 2020, 3 District (Welland) uniform officers were called to the area of Woodlawn Road and Trelawn Parkway in the City of Welland following the report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
The investigation has revealed that a 19-year-old female was struck by a pickup truck. She was airlifted to an out-of-town hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
The investigation remains under investigation by detectives with the Collision Reconstruction Unit.
