One killed in Niagara Falls motorcycle crash

At approximately 12:25 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2020, 2 District (Niagara Falls) uniform officers were called to the intersection of Stanley Ave and Robinson St. in the City of Niagara Falls following the report of a collision.

When emergency crews arrived, they found a 53-year-old Niagara Falls male with life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Further investigation revealed that the male was operating a motorcycle southbound on Stanley Ave that collided with a northbound vehicle that was attempting to turn left on Robinson St. The vehicle was being driven by a 52-year-old Niagara Falls male. He was not physically injured in the collision.

At this time, the collision continues to be under investigation by detectives with the Collision Reconstruction Unit and charges have not been laid. Detectives are asking anyone with video cameras or dash cameras to review their footage and advise police.
