On the morning of June 21, 2020, a 51-year-old man was arrested by Niagara Regional Police Service officers, suffering serious injuries in the process. The Director of the Special Investigations Unit, Joseph Martino, has determined there are no reasonable grounds to believe that any officer committed a criminal offence in connection with the man’s arrest and injuries.
