Handgun brandished during Niagara Falls robbery: Police

Circle K armed robbery incident occurred early February 12

On Feb. 12, 2022 at approximately 12:05 a.m., 2 District – Niagara Falls uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service responded to a hold up alarm at a Circle K Store in Niagara Falls.

Officers arrived on scene at the Circle K Store on Ferry Street near Main Street. The initial investigation by officers determined that a male suspect had entered the store at 11:48 p.m. (Feb. 11, 2022). After lingering in the store, he demanded money from the till while pointing a silver handgun at the clerk. The suspect further threatened the clerk by “racking” the firearm.

The clerk complied and provided cash to the suspect. The suspect also reached over the counter and stole multiple lottery tickets.

The suspect then ran from the store in an unknown direction.

The clerk was not physically injured.

Officers cordoned off the area as a police K9 unit searched the area. The suspect was not located.

The suspect is described as:
    •    Male white
    •    Approximately 5' 9" tall
    •    Wearing a full black face mask, a black winter coat with the hood over his head, black pants black ski gloves, and black garbage bags over his shoes
