Driver pronounced deceased at hospital following Niagara Falls motorcycle crash

At approximately 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2020, 2 District (Niagara Falls) uniform officers were called to the area of Stanley Avenue and Livingston Street in the City of Niagara Falls following the report of a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.

When emergency crews arrived, a 52-year-old female motorcycle driver was located and transported to hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

Investigation has revealed that the motorcycle was involved in a single vehicle collision amongst a group of motorcycles when the driver lost control. No other motorcycles were involved in the collision and there were no other physical injuries.

At this time the identity of the female is not being released as next of kin are notified.

The collision remains under investigation by detectives with the Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU). Anyone with further information or who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact detectives at 905-688-4111, dial option 3, Badge #9472.
