Arrest made in Niagara Falls theft investigation

On Dec. 2, 2020 at approximately 4:15 p.m., 2 District (Niagara Falls) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS), responded to the area of Drummond Road and Maranda Street in the City of Niagara Falls in regards to a theft.

Officers learned that a motorcycle, mountain bike, pressure washer, snow blower and lawn mower had been stolen from a residence in that area.

As a result of the investigation, uniform officers were able to identify a male suspect.

On Dec. 2, 2020, the suspect was arrested and all items were recovered. The items are estimated to be worth $7,400.

Kenneth Vincent (48 years old) of Niagara Falls, was arrested and charged with the following offences of:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • Fail to comply with probation order

Vincent was released on a Form 10 - Undertaking, and is expected to appear at court on Feb. 10, 2021 at the Robert S.K Welch Courthouse located at 59 Church St. in the City of St. Catharines.
