Spring is still a few months away but the Thorold Public Library is once again getting ready to roll out their ‘Seed Library’ program at the end of February.

Just like every year, patrons will be able to “borrow” seeds to plant vegetables, fruits, and flowers in their gardens.  As always, everyone will be invited to donate seeds back to the library, but this is not a requirement.

This year will mark the fourth year in a row that the Thorold Public Library is organizing the initiative.

Last year’s most popular seed was parsley. An easy herb to grow, making it a dependable choice for home gardeners.
