Residents are voting to elect candidates to the positions of Mayor of Thorold, City Councillor, Regional Councillor, District School Board of Niagara Trustee and Niagara Catholic District School Board Trustee. As there are eight City Councillor positions to be filled, voters may vote for up to eight candidates, but do not need to select a total of eight in order to cast their ballot.

  • Darlene Ryan Port Robinson Community Centre, 40 Cross St.

  • Rolling Meadows Bible Chapel, 54 Sunset Way
  • Thorold Seniors Centre, 8 Carleton St. S.

Eligible voters are reminded to bring their Voter Letter and one piece of identification to vote on Election Day. View the full list of acceptable identification on the City’s website.

Election results will be livestreamed on the City’s YouTube channel beginning at 8:00 p.m., immediately after the polls close. Official results will be shared as soon as they become available on the livestream, City’s website and social media.

Residents are encouraged to utilize the City’s last Help Centre tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Thorold Public Library, should they have any final questions or concerns as they prepare to vote in-person on Monday. Eligible electors will still be able to make corrections to the voters list by attending the help center and vote by internet voting using one of the City’s provided voting kiosks.
