For starters, is your new TV hooked up using your old cables? Cables have changed a lot in the last few years. Traditional “100% shielding” is not enough against today’s Wi-Fi, Cellular, LTE,3G,4G,5G and Satellite radiation, WIFI enabled appliances, Smart Home Wi-Fi products and much much more. How does this affect your new TV?
RF noise can reduce your TVs picture quality adding artifacts that shouldn’t be there!

According to Thomas, most if not all 4K TVs are backwards compatible so they will limit their performance to match the HDMI cable used.
