Two face numerous trafficking charges in Niagara Falls drug bust

Officers seized fentanyl, cocaine, MDMA, crystal meth during search warrants

Since April of 2021, detectives with the 2 District (Niagara Falls) Street Crime Unit, with the Niagara Regional Police Service, have been investigating the sales of illegal drugs in the City of Niagara Falls.

As a result of the investigation, detectives were able to identify a female and male suspect responsible for the sale of illegal drugs.

On April 15, 2021,  the suspects were arrested in the area of Stanley Avenue and Kitchener Street in the City of Niagara Falls.

As a result, detectives seized blue/pink fentanyl, cocaine, MDMA and $2,854 in Canadian currency.

Detectives executed a search warrant in the area of Thorold Stone Road and Stanley Avenue in the City of Niagara Falls and seized cocaine, crystal meth-amphetamine, fentanyl, and MDMA. The total value of drugs seized was estimated to be $3,698.

Subsequently, detectives executed a warrant in the area of Kitchener Street and Portage Road, and seized cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, and cannabis resin. The total value is estimated to be approximately $7,430.

Adam St. Louis, 37 years old of Niagara Falls, was arrested and charged with the following offences of:
    •    Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)
    •    Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl)
    •    Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (methamphetamine)
    •    Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (MDMA)
    •    Possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000
    •    Fail to comply with release order

St. Louis was held in custody and was expected to appear in court on April 15, 2021.

Echo Wakunick-Fleury, 30 years old of Niagara Falls, was arrested and charged with the following offences of:
    •    Possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl)
    •    Possession for the purpose of trafficking (MDMA)
    •    Possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)
    •    Possession for the purpose of trafficking (crystal methamphetamine)

Wakunick-Fleury was held in custody and was expected to appear in court on April 15, 2021.
