Teen wanted in Fort Erie disturbance turns himself in

Feb. 3, 2020 update:
On Monday, Feb. 3, 2020, the male suspect wanted in connection with this incident attended the 2 District (Niagara Falls) police station to surrender himself to police.

18-year-old Kia Louis Pagan-Sandino is facing the following alleged charges:

  • Point firearm
  • Possession of weapons dangerous to public peace

Pagan-Sandino is currently being held in custody pending a bail hearing on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020, at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in the City of St. Catharines.

Original Feb. 1, 2020 release:
At approximately 11:50 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, 2020, 5 District (Fort Erie) uniform officers were called to an apartment complex in the area of Derby Road and Rebstock Road following the report of a disturbance.

Investigation has revealed that a male confronted another person in the home with what is believed to be a handgun prior to fleeing.

Officers with the 5 District Detective Office are searching for a white male in his teens wearing a black coat, blue pants and blue toque.
