Suspect arrested in string of break-ins in Grimsby, West Lincoln

The break-ins happened at residential/condominium storage lockers and commercial properties

In the late months of 2023, members of uniform patrol in 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln) and detectives with 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln) began an investigation of a series of break and enters that were occurring in residential/condominium storage lockers and commercial properties in the Towns of Grimsby and West Lincoln. 

As a result of the investigation, detectives were able to identify a male suspect responsible for the break and enters.

On Jan. 15, 2024, the suspect was arrested in the City of Niagara Falls.

Christopher P. Mussat (21 years old) of St. Catharines was arrested and charged with the following offence:

  • break and enter to commit theft (five counts)

Mussat attended a video bail hearing that took place on Jan. 16, 2024, at the Robert S.K Welch courthouse located at 58 Church Street, in the City of St. Catharines.
