The Niagara Regional Police Service is requesting assistance from the public for a temporarily training facility, to train new recruits who are returning from the Ontario Police College on Aug. 6, 2021.
After graduating from the Ontario Police College, new recruits spend an additional 4 weeks at our Training Unit, where they are further introduced to scenario-based training to challenge and develop their physical, mental and technical readiness for front-line patrol.
To enhance our scenario-based training, Instructors from our Training Unit are seeking permission to use an unused commercial business, during daytime hours between Aug. 20 and Aug. 27.
