Police seek Niagara-on-the-Lake gas station robbery suspect.

On Aug. 26, 2021, at approximately 10:00 p.m., 2 District Niagara Falls uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded to a robbery that had just occurred at the Gales Gas Station located on York Road near Tanbark Road in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

The initial investigation by officers determined that an unknown lone male entered the kiosk and demanded money from an employee. The suspect then ran from the area with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapons were seen.

A NRPS K9 Unit attended the area, but the suspect could not be located.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male, 5’10 – 6’, slim build
  • Wearing an orange “Reebok” hooded sweatshirt
  • Brown full-face mask
  • Blue jeans
  • Dark colored running shoes
  • Black gloves
  • Dark baseball hat worn backwards underneath his hood.

The investigation has been taken over by the 2 District detective office.  Anyone who may have information about this incident is being asked to contact detectives at 905-688-4111, extension 1009546.
