Police seek missing 87-year-old from Port Colborne (update: located safe)

Sept. 21 update:
Jack has been located and is now safe. The NRPS would like to thank the media and the public for their help in this matter.

Original Sept. 20 release:
The Niagara Regional Police Service is currently searching for a missing 87-year-old male from Port Colborne.

Jack Templain was last seen on Sept. 19, 2021, at approximately 4:00 p.m., in the area of Hampton Road and Michael Drive North, Port Colborne.

Jack is described as:

  • Male
  • White
  • 5'9-5’10
  • Sender build
  • Short grey hair
  • Blue eyes

Jack Templain was last seen driving his 2013 Red Chevrolet Pickup Truck with Ontario License plate AE77596.  The vehicle is described as having a black front grill, distinct rims, with a regular cab with a cap and a 8 feet box.

Police and his family are concerned for Templain’s welfare and are requesting the public's help in locating him.
