Police looking for two suspects in Fort Erie robbery

Police say the victim went to hospital with minor injuries

On Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020, at approximately 6:30 a.m., 5 District Fort Erie uniform officers were called to the area of Dunlop Street located in the Town of Fort Erie for a report of a robbery.

Officer's initial investigation determined two unknown suspects, one of which was armed with a bb gun and the other was armed with a silver pipe, entered the victim's trailer and assaulted him and robbed him of an undisclosed amount of money. The two suspects ran from the scene towards the area of Dunlop Street and Wood Street where it is believed they fled in a vehicle.

The male victim in his 70s, was treated at the scene by Niagara Emergency Medical Services paramedics. He was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.

Suspect's descriptions:

Suspect #1 (armed with Pellet gun)  

  • Male white 
  • 40 years  
  • 6' feet tall  
  • 250-300 pounds., heavy set build  
  • Black mask with eyes and mouth cutouts  
  • Black winter jacket with yellow stripes on the side

Suspect #2 (armed with a silver pipe)  

  • Male white  
  • 40 years  
  • 6' feet tall  
  • 250-300 pounds., heavy set build  
  • Black mask with eyes and mouth cutouts  
  • Black spring jacket
