July 8 update:

The investigation to locate missing person Natalie Matyas has been ongoing by officers assigned to 2 District (Niagara Falls / Niagara-on-the-Lake).

On July 7th,2022, at approximately 11 p.m., Natalie was located and is safe.

The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) is currently conducting a missing person investigation stemming from the City of Niagara Falls

2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) officers are searching for Natalie Matyas (14 years of age). She was last seen on July 6, 2022, at approximately 5 p.m. entering the passenger seat of a blue sedan, in the area of Lundy’s Lane and Beechwood Road, in the City of Niagara Falls.

Natalie is described as follows:

  • female
  • White
  • 5-0 tall
  • 100 pounds
  • wearing a navy-blue Eden high school hoody
  • wearing black shorts
  • wearing black and gold running shoes

Both the police and Natalie’s family are concerned for her welfare.

2 District (NRPS) detectives are asking the public for assistance.  Anyone who may have information as to the whereabouts of Natalie is being asked to contact the NRPS Communications Unit at 905-688-4111.
