Police look to identify suspects following St. Catharines assault, robbery

At approximately 2:45 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2020, 1 District (St. Catharines) uniform officers were called to the area of Queenston Street and Eastchester Avenue in the City of St. Catharines following the report of a robbery.

The victim reported that two men entered his apartment, assaulted him and fled with a sum of cash. The victim sustained minor injuries. A K9 track of the area was unsuccessful.

The suspects are described as:
    •    Suspect 1) male, wearing a face covering, gloves, grey Winnipeg Jets hooded sweater, blue jeans, and black boots
    •    Suspect 2) male, white, wearing a face mask, gloves, black and green hooded sweater, black pants and black Nike shoes

District Detectives are asking the public for assistance as they continue the investigation.
