On Saturday June 26, 2021, at approximately 3am, 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) uniform officers were called to a residence in the area of Church Street and Queenston Street in the City of St. Catharines.
When officers arrived, they located an adult female inside the residence who was subsequently pronounced deceased.
The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) Homicide Unit has carriage of the investigation.
At this time, police remain on scene along with the NRPS Forensic Unit.
