Police arrest two after seizing $55,400 worth of drugs

Members of the Niagara Falls Street Crime unit have been investigating the distribution of drugs by two individuals in the City of Niagara Falls for approximately one month.  Police were able to gather evidence to support the grounds for search warrants for two residences and two vehicles.

In a joint effort, the Niagara Falls Street Crime Unit, the Morality Unit, Guns Gangs and Grows and the Emergency Task Unit executed the warrants and arrested the two parties.

Police seized $55,400 worth of drugs, $3315 in proceeds of crime and a prohibited weapon.

Thirty-one-year-old Jumal Stewart of Niagara Falls is charged with the following:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking x3 - Section 5(2) CDSA
  • Possession of proceeds of crime - Section 355(b) CC
  • Possession of a prohibited weapon - Section 91(2)CC
  • Breach of weapons prohibition - Section 117.01(1)CC 
  • Breach of probation - Section 733.1(1)CC

thirty-year-old Geol Spencer of Niagara Falls is charged with the following:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking x3 - Section 5(2)CDSA
  • Possession of proceeds of crime - Section 355(b)CC
  • Breach of recognizance - Section 145(3)CC
