No one injured in St. Catharines shooting incident: NRPS

On Friday March 19 2021, at 10:51 pm, 1 District (St. Catharines) Uniform Officers, attended the area of Trapnell Street and Vine Street S., in the City of St. Catharines in regards to shots being fired. 

Investigation revealed a dwelling in this area was damaged by gunfire, however the suspect(s) fled the scene, prior to police arrival. No one was injured as a result of this incident and detectives with the 1 District (St. Catharines) Criminal Investigations Branch have taken carriage of the investigation.

Detectives have reason to believe this was a targeted incident and the suspect(s) remain outstanding.

It is believed at least two males in dark clothing to be involved in the shooting.

Residents in the area of this incident are asked to check their video surveillance or dash cam footage for any suspicious activity.
