No concern for public safety from 'stranger' in December sex assault investigation: Police

On Dec. 21, 2019, 8 District Grimsby officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service commenced an investigation into an alleged stranger sexual assault that occurred in Sherwood Park on Hedge Lawn Drive in Grimsby.

The investigation has been ongoing by detectives from the Sexual Assault Unit. Detectives have determined that there is no concern for public safety from a stranger suspect as it relates to this matter.
