Man in Halloween mask pulls 'large knife' during convenience store robbery: Police (3 photos)

On Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021 at 4:40 p.m., officers assigned to 1 District Uniform Patrol responded to an armed robbery at a convenience store located in the area of Pelham Road and Galbraith Street in the City of St. Catharines.

A lone male suspect entered the store armed with a large knife. A demand was made to the cashier to surrender money from the register. The cashier sustained no injuries. 

Detectives assigned to the 1 District Criminal Investigative Branch have assumed carriage of the investigation. After reviewing store surveillance footage, the suspect has been determined to have been wearing a Halloween mask. Description of the suspect is as follows:
    •    White male
    •    5’10” to 6’0” tall
    •    Wearing a black jacket with grey sleeves and a grey hood
    •    Dark blue jeans
    •    Blue shoes with white soles
