House and cars damaged after alleged shooting in St. Catharines

Police say the shooting incident is believed to have happened on the night of May 31 and may have involved four to six shots

On May 31, 1 District (St. Catharines / Thorold) officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service responded to a residence in St. Catharines for a belated shooting incident.

Officers attended the home on Vansickle Road near McCaffrey Crescent. Officers were directed to the damage to the house and two cars on the property. 

1 District St. Catharines detectives have been assigned to the investigation. Forensic examination conducted by detectives from the Forensic Services Unit has confirmed the damage sustained to both the house and vehicles was from bullets discharged from a firearm.

Further investigation has determined that the shooting incident is believed to have occurred at approximately 2 a.m. on May 31 and may have involved four to six shots.

No one was injured because of this incident.
