Detectives from the 2 District (Niagara Falls / Niagara on the Lake) office of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) have continued to investigate the July 23, 2023, stabbing incident at the Euphoria Social Lounge. That investigation has led to the identification of a suspect.
The victims continue to recover from their injuries.
On July 31, 2023, Sameer Channan (27 yrs.) of Niagara Falls the owner / operator of Euphoria Social Lounge was arrested and charged with the Criminal Code offences of:
- Aggravated Assault (2 Counts)
Channan was held in custody for a video bail hearing to the Robert S. K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines on July 31, 2023.
