November 17, 1943 – December 15, 2023

Just weeks after her 80th birthday, Judy suffered a sudden fatal heart issue. Judy is predeceased by her beloved husband Albert and will be forever missed by her three daughters, Theresa, Christy (Evan) and Amanda (Don) and grandson Jake.

Judy was a lifelong resident of Thorold where she was an active member of the community and ardent supporter of local charities. She worked at Lamb Bocchinfuso funeral home for over 25 years and will be remembered for the compassion, dignity and kindness she brought to her role there.

To her daughters, no matter their ages, she was always “Mummy.” To her late husband Albert, whom she lovingly cared for, she was the world. Judy had the most beautiful smile, was always immaculately put together and looked many years younger than her age. She walked daily, was an avid gardener and was passionate about decorating and design (Heaven is in for a makeover).

Judy died weeks before Christmas, yet had already completed wrapping her gifts for her family, friends, even the paper carrier – that was Judy, so thoughtful, so caring and always giving. Everyone who knew her is grieving at this abrupt parting, but they will have the consolation of a selfless life lived with goodness and grace. Judy was irreplaceable and will be sorely missed.

After a private family service, a Celebration of Life for Judy will take place Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Thorold Canadian Corps Unit 44, 7 Clairmont St. If you can, please make a donation in Judy’s honour at Community Care Thorold.
