SRB, Ivo “John” 1966-2023
Passed away suddenly and peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 57, following a courageous and short battle with cancer.
Beloved son of the late Tony and the late Jarmila Srb. He leaves behind his wife Kathy, son Jack and sister Tania (Rick). Loving uncle to Stefanie (deceased), Joey (Melissa), Michael (Carly) and Alexie (Wade). Great-uncle to Ryan, Joseph and Emma. John will be remembered by his large extended family in the Czech Republic and many friends and acquaintances.
John emigrated from Czechoslovakia with his parents and sister in 1969 and grew up in St. Catharines. Also known as Chef Jean, he owned and operated Chocolate Expressions, well-known in the Niagara Region for 27 years, for his tasty and creative chocolate products and catering services. John was a man of faith, loved his family, hiking, his pet Tabitha and talking to people that crossed his path. John will be remembered as a very sociable person and always happy to give advice and input on just about anything.

In honouring John’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and will be announced on CCBSCares.ca website.
