It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Roberto Antonio Siliezar at the NHS-St. Catharines Site on October 14, 2022 at the age of 72.
Devoted husband of Ana. Loving father of Heidi (Cristian Barrios), Ingrid (Luis Najera) and the late Bessy Siliezar. Wonderful and caring grandfather to Lissebeth Barrios, Axuan Barrios, the late Maria José Barrios, Gisselle Najera and Fernando Najera. He will be missed by his fur babies Lulu and Nala.
Roberto was born in El Salvador in 1949 to Eduardo and Guillermina Siliezar. He moved to Canada and soon became an entrepreneur. With his love of cars, he opened his own business: El Camino Auto, in St. Catharines and remained actively working.
In his spare time, Roberto enjoyed travelling. You would often find him watching Futbol, BBQ’ing, sipping on Tequila or even napping in a hammock.
In accordance with Roberto’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 21st, 2022 at St. Alfred’s Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines.
There we will celebrate his life and thank God for the blessing of having him in our lives.
