With her daughters, Laurie-Anne and Paula, by her side, Helen passed away on June 28, 2021. Helen entered heaven into the loving arms of her son Chris. She was 81 years old. Helen will be remembered for her magical laugh, amazing hugs and deep faith. She touched many lives through her careers as a teacher and a nurse. Helen deeply loved her family. She will be fondly remembered by her sister Constance and sister-in-law Irene. Special Aunt to Kerry (Leanne), Dean, Terri Ann and Cori. Special Grandma of the heart to Nana, Sarah, Jaden and Anna.

Laurie-Anne and Paula are grateful for the loving friendship Helen had with their dad Emile and their step-mother Ella.

During this difficult time, Helen’s family is exceptionally grateful to the nurses and doctors at the Hotel Dieu Shaver. Their kindness, patience and grace guided Helen and her family through their journey. As an expression of gratitude, donations to the Hotel Dieu Shaver would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
