SALDARELLI, MICHAEL JAMES “MIKE” – (retired from Abitibi after 36 years, and Merchant Marine with the Seaway) Peacefully, with his niece Linda at his side at Niagara Health St. Catharines Site on Sunday, October 15, 2023 in his 93rd year. Mike was an avid traveller who had many adventures around the world including Spain, Portugal, Cuba, Europe, Jerusalem, Florida and Eastern Canada. He liked to “go in style” dressing to the nines and having the most up-to-date model of car. Mike was also a bit of a gambler, liking to go to the horse races and playing the stock market. He is predeceased by all of his siblings: Albert (Mary), Tony (Rose), Ralph (Concetta), Adelene (Gilbert), John (Peggy), Pat and his twin brother Frank. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews Betty (Peter), Jimmy (Donna), Bob (Sandra), Linda (Randy), Joe (Valerie), Rick (Elizabeth), Les (Linda) and Joe, and his many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his parents Joe and Rose, his nephew Don (Surviving spouse Linda) and his niece Gail (surviving spouse Kevin). Visitors will be received at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 11:30 AM– 12:30 PM.
