It is with great sadness that we announce Billy’s passing on Friday September 15, 2023, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 71. Beloved husband to Shelley DiRaddo. Dear father to Kori Dempster (Lino). Grandfather to Dylan, Brittany, Hailey, and Nicole and great grandfather to Anthony and Jaece. Loving brother to Jim (Angie), Dan (Diane), Kelly (Ron) Vanvelzen. Cherished uncle by his many nieces and nephews. Billy is predeceased by his parents James and Lillian (née Little) O’Hara. Billy worked as a letter carrier for thirty-five years with Canada Post until his retirement. He was also a driver for Henderson Pharmacy for seventeen years. Billy played many sports in his life but had a great love for golf. He knew how to have a good time! Billy will be missed by his dogs Fenway and Juliette, and his many friends. In keeping with Billy’s wishes he has been cremated and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers donations to the Niagara Humane Society or to the Shriners Children Hospital.
