JORGENSON, Hilda (nee Hopkins)

On April 19, 2023, the matriarch of our family got her wings and went to walk with the angels. Predeceased by her husband Stanley in 1986, she leaves behind her daughter Lonna (Bernie), grandchildren Brandi (Bryan) Cody (Tasha) and great granddaughters Madison and Emery-Rae. Hilda is also survived by her brother John (Carol), sister Ruth, and sister-in-law Freda. Predeceased by her son Lionel, and siblings Annie Elizabeth and Bill. Born on November 13, 1929 in the village of Tobermory, to Vera and James Whitmore Hopkins, Hilda was a proud, long-time employee of Hotel Dieu Hospital. A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 138, 2 Chestnut Street, Merritton from 12:00 - 3:00 PM.
