Passed away peacefully after living with cancer for over 5 years, at NHS-St. Catharines on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 45 years of age. She was the daughter of Allan and Margot Johnson (who were killed by a drunk driver in 1994), older sister of Adam and his wife Mary, aunt of their daughter, Ryland, granddaughter of Den and Joan Johnson and Richard and Elizabeth Welwood, niece of Susan and Bruce Bouchard, Cole Johnson, Paige Johnson, Steven and Jenny Johnson, Olena and Greg Johnson. She was married to Michael Eric Lombardo for 7 years. She spent her formative years, Gr’s 3-12 in Chesterville. Laura enjoyed swimming, her time at church where she was a volunteer in the prayer group as well as her involvement at The Promistery (organic farm) and she was very involved with the Ottawa Bicycle Club.
In honouring Laura’s wishes, a graveside service will be held at 3 pm on Friday, December 02, 2022 at St. John’s Public Cemetery, 2878 St. John's Drive, Jordan. No reception has been planned at this time.
