Lula, of St. Catharines passed away on Sunday, July 23rd, 2023 at the age of 78 years old at McNally House in Grimsby. She was born on September 28, 1944 in Merritton to Pia Lucchesi (1901-1980) and Angelo Amadio Facca (1891-1974). Proudly a Mom of 6 children Kasey Kornelius Henry (Jillaine), Julie Pia (Kevin), Vincent Angelo (Janet), Angelina Louise (Graeme), Theresa Rose Erna (Tony), Patricia Attilia (Martin). Nona of 24 grandchildren Kaitlynn (Adam), Rebecca, Cole, Sara (Joseph), Ashley (Cameron), Victoria (Ryan), Emma, Stephanie, Grace (MacCauley), Jake, Jack, Iain, Troy, Reed, Penelope, Myles, Tasman, Jerry, Sebastien, Dean, Georgia, Clare, Winifred, Henry. Great Nona of 5 great-grandchildren Charlotte, James, Hadley, Harlan, Calvin. Lula is predeceased by brothers Davino (1931-2004) and Armando Paolo (1942-1995), surviving brother Giacomo Angelo. For many years, Lula was an active member of St. Patrick’s Parish in Merritton, CWL and Club Roma. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM at Bocchinfuso Funeral Home, 2 Regent Street, Thorold. Funeral Liturgy will follow at 1:00 PM at St. Patrick’s Church, 21 Chestnut Street, Merritton with Reverend Father Paul McDonald officiating. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery in St. Catharines. Donations may be made to Covenant House which Lula donated to on a regular basis.
