On Sunday, December 10, 2023, Paolo passed away unexpectedly at Niagara Health St. Catharines Site, and went to be with his beloved father in Heaven. He was 57 years old. Devoted and proud father to Joseph (Branda) and Cassandra (Blake). Paolo was so excited to be a grandpa to his new grandson, Christian. Beloved son to Antonia and the late Giuseppe (2020). Loving brother to Maria (Ralph). Fondly remembered by Mary-Anne and his many family members and friends. Paolo was a long-time and dedicated employee of Resolute Forest Products (formerly The Ontario Paper Company) and most recently of Arterra Wines Canada. He loved the band Rush, The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Paolo was a dedicated family man and a hard worker, who will always be remembered for making those around him laugh. Visitors will be received at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 2:00- 4:00 and 6:00 -8:00 PM. Vigil prayers will be recited at 6:00 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 21 Queen Street South, Thorold at 11:00 AM. Rite of committal Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. Paolo always said that if he won the lottery, the first place he would donate to would be the Niagara Children’s Center, so please donate there, in his memory.
