After a courageous 3 year battle with chronic illness, it is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Darlene Corbett, of St. Catharines on March 5th, at the age of 73 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend of 50 years, Bob; children: Laura (Graeme) Brown and Hilary Corbett; grandchildren: Keenan, Dane and Dillon; siblings, Diana Taylor, Donna (Ted) Kalailieff, Denise (late Larry) Maracle, Scott (Helen) Taylor, Donald (Patti) Taylor; as well as numerous relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Ella and Donald Taylor.
Darlene was an avid bookworm who loved to cross-stitch and crossword. She often fondly reminisced about her work and colleagues at Hotel Dieu Hospital. With a sharp wit and keen memory, Darlene would give the most thoughtful gifts to her cherished friends and family. She will be greatly missed.
The family will hold a private gathering to honour Darlene’s life at the family home in St. Catharines.
