It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our family matriarch, Cecilia on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, 2 days short of her 95th birthday.
Mourning her loss are her children Domenico (Lina), Santina and Giuseppe. Nonna has left us with countless treasured memories of wonderful times together with grandchildren Anthony (Laura), Christopher (Catherine), Frank (Christina) and Nicholas (Chantal) Calabrese, Berardo, Antonio and Angelo Mauro. Her youngest bundles of joy were her great grandchildren Domenico, Fiona, Domenico and Mattea. Cecilia has now been reunited with her husband Antonio and sisters Domenica and Antonia. She is survived by her sister Angela. Cecilia is fondly remembered by many family and friends here and in Italy.
Visitors will be received at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 2:00 -4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Vigil prayers will be recited at 3:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY CHURCH 21 Queen Street South, Thorold at 9:30 AM Saturday. Rite of Committal Lakeview Cemetery.
