Passed away peacefully, at Niagara Long Term Care on November 11, 2023. Beloved wife of Ed Buchan. Loving mother of Eddie (Debbie), Marty and Trevor. Lola’s legacy will carry on through her grandchildren; Alex (Amber), Lisa (Justin Hansen) and her great grandchildren; Avery, Abigail and Grayson. She will be missed by her siblings; Virginia Dunn, Lila Popke (the late Gordon), Lida (Ken Peck) and Olga (Wayne Beno). Predeceased by her parents Ollie and Amelia and her brother Basil.
Lola enjoyed working at A&P for 35 years, getting to know a lot of her customers and colleagues very well. She was also involved in playing darts, painting, flower arrangements, ceramics, sewing, cake decorating and bowling, just to name a few of her many interests.
An enormous amount of gratitude to the staff at Niagara Long Term Care Home, Niagara-On-The-Lake, for their professionalism and amazing amount of care they provided, making Lola as comfortable as possible in these last few years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
