It is with great sadness we announce that Cy passed away peacefully, with his daughter Susan by his side at Niagara Health St. Catharines, on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at the age of 95.
Cherished father of Carolynne (Karl) Mann, Susan Frederick and Sandra (Deb) Brooks. Stepfather to Jedd Winnard. Loving Grandfather to David (Jen) DeJong, Patricia (Chris) Sheehan, Karl (Amy) Mann III, Courtney (Tom) Podolak and Brian (Stephanie) Frederick Jr. Great-Grandfather to eight. Son of the late Ethel and George Brooks of Nova Scotia. Cyril worked for Foster Wheeler for 40 years, retiring in 1993. He played bagpipes in the St. Catharines Pipe band and enjoyed volunteering with Meals on Wheels.
Visitors will be received at Bocchinfuso Funeral Home 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home Chapel.
